Lou is having to rip out the very same tile that he just put down earlier this summer, but he says it isn't the first time! Great attitude.
Some of the tile was salvageable, but not enough to re do the bathroom, so that idea is now dead.
I found and ordered new tile. With my cousin Jan to help, we quickly spotted something we liked in Santa Rosa, and when we got the measurements today, I called them in. Luckily for me, they are in stock and will be shipped from the giant kiln in Ohio. Should be in SR in a week to 10 days.
I am getting hand molded four inch tiles in three complimentary coffee colors and they will go down in a random pattern...I think it will be very cool.
I am also having to change the color of the backsplash now, and lucky me, when I called MGI, I still have time to do that, so will go in tomorrow and take care of it, when I am out paint hunting.
Act, react, pause, breathe, act, react and on it goes.

You are handling all this very admirably, Char. Learning to roll with the punches as Russell always used to tell me!
Yes, it has been a remarkable learning experience and not to sound too much like a guest on Oprah, lots of personal growth too, esp. in the patience part of life.
Thanks for noticing.
